Sport Betting Rules
Scope and Application
The Spinanga Sports Betting Rules govern all interactive sports betting services offered to eligible customers. They form part of Spinanga's Terms & Conditions and prevail in any inconsistency with other provisions. Where a governing body or official result is cited, Spinanga will settle based on the official result or, if required, corroborating official sources. The English language version governs in the event of any discrepancy between language versions.
Eligibility and Account Requirements
To place bets you must hold a Spinanga account and meet all regulatory and internal verification requirements. Bets may be restricted or refused for risk, compliance, or security reasons. Employees of Spinanga and related persons may be subject to limitations. Bets are subject to a minimum age of 18 years; Spinanga will perform identity verification and anti-money laundering checks consistent with applicable law. Spinanga reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or close accounts in cases of suspected illegitimate activity or breach of these Rules.
Bet Acceptance, Validity and Formats
- All bets are accepted through Spinanga’s online platform. Bets placed via other channels, unless expressly permitted, are void.
- Bets on pre‑match markets are valid only before the advertised start time. Live (in‑play) bets are subject to the market remaining open and not suspended.
- Spinanga reserves the right to refuse any bet, in whole or part, for any reason at its sole discretion. Bets may be void if input errors are detected or if the bet is placed contrary to these Rules.
- Where a bet is placed after the event has started, such bet may be deemed invalid unless the market remains officially open for placement at the time of live betting.
Odds, Settlement and Corrections
Bets are settled based on decimal odds displayed at the time of acceptance. Spinanga may suspend, adjust, or void markets to reflect technical errors, data delays, or suspected market manipulation. If an obvious input error is identified, Spinanga may void the affected bet or correct the settlement. Settlement will be based on the official result or the governing body’s final decision; in the absence of an official result, Spinanga may rely on available evidence, including video records, to determine the result. Spinanga reserves the right to reverse settlements if an error is discovered after settlement.
Abandonment, Postponement and Venue Changes
- If an event is postponed or abandoned and cannot be completed within the specified timeframe, undecided markets may be void unless explicitly determined by the market rules.
- If an event does not finish within the prescribed timeframe, Spinanga may void unsettled markets. Markets that have been determined shall stand; otherwise, settlements may be adjusted in line with the governing body’s final outcome.
- Changes of venue may render all bets on a match void unless the market rules explicitly permit otherwise. For non‑team events, bets may remain valid if the venue change occurs after the market was opened and does not alter the event structure.
Markets and Settlement Principles
The following market types apply unless superseded by sport‑specific rules. Settlement is governed by official results where available, subject to the rules below.
- Outright: bets on the winner of a tournament, league, or competition. If the event is cancelled or a participant does not start, such bets are void unless the market states otherwise.
- Moneyline and Win/Draw/Win: bets on the outcome of an event or match. In the case of a dead heat, payouts are adjusted pro rata to the number of winners.
- Handicap and Asian Handicap: bets that apply a virtual head start. If the final result equals the handicap line, the market may be void unless the market description specifies otherwise.
- Over/Under and Totals: bets on the aggregate total of points/goals. The result is settled against the specified threshold; if the exact threshold is reached, the market may be void unless stated.
- Odd/Even and Other Totals: bets on parity or specified totals, settled by the described rule for the market.
- First Goal / Last Goal / First Scorer etc.: goalscoring related markets settled on the event time and official scoring record. In cases of event discontinuation, markets may be void unless the outcome was already determined.
- Head‑to‑Head: markets comparing two competitors. If a participant cannot start or is disqualified, affected bets are void.
- Live In‑Play: markets available during an event. Odds may change and bets must be placed while the market is active; otherwise, bets may be void.
- Multi Bets and System Bets: combinations of selections. All selections must meet the winning criteria; if any selection loses, the bet fails. Adjustments may apply to unsettled selections with odds reverting to 1.00 as specified in market terms.
Sport‑Specific Rules
In addition to the general rules, Spinanga applies sport‑specific rules described below. Where a sport rule conflicts with the general rules, the sport rule prevails for that sport.
American Football
Markets may specify overtime settlement. If the regular‑time result is a draw, the market may be settled by overtime where indicated. Certain markets may define evaluation by offensive plays (drive outcomes) or by specific scoring events. Abandonment or postponement rules apply in the standard manner; unsettled markets may be void if not completed within the defined timeframes.
Athletics
Abandonments or postponements: if an event is postponed or abandoned, bets remain valid only if the event is completed within 24 hours of the original start time; otherwise, unsettled bets may be voided. Markets dependent on the full completion of the event will be settled accordingly when the event concludes.
Baseball
Baseball matches may be scheduled for varying innings. A market requiring the full number of scheduled innings will be void if the match does not reach that inning threshold. Markets such as Winner (incl. extra innings), Handicap, and Totals (incl. extra innings) settle only if the official result is determined and the required innings are completed. If a game is called early, settlements follow the official decision and the applicable market rules.
Soccer
Unless stated otherwise, soccer markets settle on the end of regular time. Extra time and penalties are not included unless explicitly specified. Common markets include 1X2, Correct Score, Half‑Time/Full‑Time, Total Goals, and First/Last Goal. If a match is abandoned, markets may be void unless a result has already been determined under the market terms. Settlement follows the official result and any post‑match amendments published by the governing body.
Live Betting Rules
In‑play markets operate with real‑time updates. Markets may be suspended or closed prior to the end of the event. Bets placed on markets that are closed or suspended at the time of placement may be void. Spinanga may rely on live data feeds; where disputes arise, Spinanga’s decision is final and may be based on video evidence or official results where available.
Disputes, Amendments and Finality
Spinanga may correct or void bets, markets, or settlements to rectify errors or irregularities. The operator’s decision is final in all disputes. If an official result is subsequently amended by a governing body, Spinanga may adjust settlements to reflect the final official result where required by implementing authority guidelines.
Data, Privacy, Compliance and Responsible Gambling
Spinanga relies on official event feeds for betting information. Bets may be adjusted if data are corrected. Spinanga complies with applicable anti‑money‑laundering and Know Your Customer requirements. Customers are responsible for complying with local gambling laws and for managing their own gambling activities responsibly. Spinanga provides tools and resources to support responsible gambling and offers assistance channels for customers seeking help.
